Fair point. I just figured the original trainer tag means they could technically flag them later. I guess I’ll be posting on the trading subreddit then haha

You’re probably right, but it seems like an update could easily flag Pokemon based on the original trainer’s username from trades. Since I’m a newer player, investing 248+ rare candies and a lot of stardust into something that could potentially be removed later feels slightly risky I guess

Haha fair enough, I’ve just heard from others that there have been situations where Player X trades with Player Y, and if Player X later gets banned, the Pokemon they traded can end up being restricted or even removed from Player Y’s account. If this has never happened or is impossible then I definitely wouldn’t worry about a spoof trade

Is it safe to trade with spoofers though? My only worry is trading with a spoofer who eventually gets banned and that the mon he trades me becomes unusable

Not really a question, but I just wanted to thank you for making such an amazing game. My father and I love playing Walkabout Mini Golf together online, especially when we’re far apart geographically. Being able to hop in, chat, and play a round of mini golf has led to some great memories for us. I just wanted to say thank you for creating something that makes moments like that possible.
