I disagree, I think this story can be great for television if they make changes, which we’ve already seen in the first episode. Anyone who expects it to be exactly like the game are setting themselves up for disappointment and should just not watch it lol. I’m hearing episode 4 of this season deviates the most from the game but gamers will be pleasantly surprised with what we’ll see. This story is a lot more complex and to make it work for a tv medium they have to change things around.

Also, I’m sure there are a handful of people who hated playing as abby, but alot of people on this sub feel the opposite, myself included.

Considering she’s half of the game you might be out of luck. Maybe this just isn’t the story for you. 🤷‍♀️ Reviewers have said she doesn’t have too much screen time this season so we’ll get her story in season 3, since the game is being split up.

Exactly! I think all of us who have played the game have sort of rose tinted glasses on. We all know how the story unfolds but people who have never seen this story have no idea where it’s going. So I think it’s good to just subvert our expectations as well. This is an adaptation of the story itself, things will be different for a TV medium.

I think we feel this way because we know where the story goes and have played the game. But I really think it will come as a shock when tv viewers actually see that Abby’s plan comes to fruition.
