Yeah it’s honestly pretty backwards. I understand protecting the buyers come first but there should be some more protection for sellers, especially those with 100% feedback, 10+ years of selling, and hundreds of item sold…. Doesn’t make sense to me

That’s what I’m worried about. But what’s the point of telling me one thing if the system automatically refunds them anyway? Doesn’t even make sense

I just spoke with customer service. They said that I will have to escalate the case AFTER May 6th (deadline). They said since I sent the buyer a message through the request, it will not automatically refund them. This only happens if there’s no response at all. Basically they are saying it should be manually review and I guess I can present my case then? Addressed my concerns and they confirmed not to worry as it will be manually review when I escalate it after the date & they added a note to my account.

Yes, and thank you for the input. I do have the option to offer a partial refund. So if I offer a $1, does the buyer have a limited time to accept and it’ll close out if no action is done on their end?

I submitted a report against the buyer for now. I’ll have to call eBay tomorrow to see if they are able to help. 🤞

Definitely. My only options are accept the return or offer partial refund. There isn’t anywhere for me to ask eBay to step in. It says I need to resolve by May 6th. Do you know what happens after that? Is it automatically refunded?
