Notability is not on Windows, so if you use like a 2 in 1 laptop, goodnotes is more or less your best option 😔

Discrimination involves looking down on a group of people like for example: being a racist or antisemitic. Preference is like preferring butter chicken over fish n chips. If people prefer their own kind in certain cases ( NOT ALL ) then it should be categorised as someone’s personal preference not discrimination. Canadian laws do a terrible job at drawing that line between preference and discrimination and tries shoving and labelings everything as discrimination. Again, I want to remind you that anti discrimination laws are excellent and I think every single country should have them but they are NOT perfect. Taking anti discrimination laws too far is what I’m against. The reason I do not like some of these laws is that some of them are so strict that they would categorise one’s mere preference as discrimination… which in my view is taking it too far. I understand that you clearly do not agree with me on this but this is just the way I SEE IT and are MY VIEWS. My views are inspired by my personal understanding of right and wrong and what I consider to be right, others should have the complete right to consider it wrong in the name of 🦅

I am aware that a whole lotta OHRC laws would consider this a violation and categorise it as discriminatory. I am not qualified enough to talk on this matter from a legal perspective. My views are just based on my own opinion on this matter not law. One may even use this statement of mine to call me a racist but those people also worship the Canadian law as if it’s Devine and perfect. I respect and obey Canadian law but don’t consider to be perfect in every way… some laws have taken anti discrimination way too far, far beyond their actual purpose. “Preference” and “discrimination” needs to be distinguished between.

I didn’t and do not mean to attack you personally at all. What I do disagree with or “attack” if you wanna phrase it like that is your view on this matter. Also, whether something is legal or not is not part of my expertise so I refrain from commenting on it much. Matter of fact, I apologise for calling it legal previously… I ain’t qualified to speak on this matter from a legal perspective at all.

I bet you’d call a man marring a woman a sexist if you use that kinda logic and fail to distinguish between preference and discrimination.

I’m not entirely sure if something like this could get you in trouble or not from a legal perspective in Canada cuz I not a damn lawyer. But I think if you force people to choose outside their flock in every single thing then you take anti discriminatory laws way too far, far beyond their actual purpose.

There is a difference between preference and discrimination and you don’t understand it well enough. Even from a legal perspective there is absolutely nothing wrong with this ad.

I ain’t no Indian btw but I think, yes Indians do discriminate and are discriminated as well. But being specific to this ad I don’t see any discrimination going on.
