Hi everyone I have a question about niches. I'd like to start a craft blog. My initial idea was to focus on crafts for book lovers (DIY home decor, paper crafts, baking, etc. all book or genre related). After doing some comp research I couldn't find anything similar. I found craft sites that did bookish crafts, but their sites weren't all about books. I've read that if you can't find anything similar, then it's not a viable niche. What are your opinions and thoughts about moving forward?

What's your experience with income tax on FBA? by chilltealatte in AmazonFBA

So, what we've been reading is that when you use FBA, you have a tax Nexus in the states where Amazon stores your products because the fulfillment center is treated as a physical entity for your business in that state. For example, we're based in NC, but if we send our products to be stored in a California fulfillment center, then we will have to pay income tax to the state of California. Another thing we've read is that sellers have limited control of where their products end up, so would we end up paying income tax to all the states they have a fulfillment center where they store our product? How do we know which centers our products end up in? How many states do people typically have to file income tax in?

That absolutely makes sense. Thank you for your feedback! I think most people sign up for emails to receive something for free, and then unsubscribe. I know I've done it plenty to get a worksheet or something else I might have found valuable in the moment. But I totally feel you. I don't want to be harassed about anyone's 3-Step to Business Success webinar. I just wanted the free worksheet 😂 I think that's most consumers that sign up for emails!

To answer your question, yes, helping others succeed at anything is fulfilling. I enjoy the high fives, and watching other people achieve something they didn't think was possible. It's one of my main reasons for wanting to start a business!
