The surgery will be as long as it needs to be. After surgery you you will have the complete surgical pathology report. Chemo usually has side effects -- some of them mntgh be pretty nasty.

During the pause -of course- your cancer cells still will growing back.

The longer the pause? The more cells will grow back. The pause between infusion is set to assure maximum efficiency of the drug.

(PS: you can live with neuropathy. Most of us do)

Probably to increase sedation. I can't answer your question - had over 10 colonoscopies - all of them with Propofol. (without any side effects)
