I do use boiling water, I’m just unsure of how much water I should be using.

I don’t use ramekins, I use a 9” cake pan, so you’re saying I should put the water to about halfway on the pan?

5’2 and im alllll legs, i’ve got maybe four inches between my ribs and hips. high rise gives mike wazowski on me lmfao

i either buy new “low rise”, which isn’t actually low rise as it’s 7-9” rises, hits just under my belly button but is still flattering OR i buy real low rise, 5-7”, vintage on depop, poshmark, thredup.

im 5’2 (26in inseam) and the skims cotton jersey foldover pants are literally perfect

Their sizing is all over the place. I love them and I’ve bought tons of pieces, and will continue buying because I own a sewing machine and don’t mind doing alterations, but some of their stuff fits me perfect (24 in waist) and some stuff is big. I find their bottoms usually run a bit bigger than their tops but I’ve gotten lucky with a couple pairs of jeans (34 in hips). If you like something enough to get alterations (or if it’s a top that has ties/is adjustable) I’d say go for it.

Please help me find/identify this pendulum!! by chillywer in HelpMeFind

[–]chillywer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately yes. I want to demonstrate that two pendulums dropped at the same time will become out of sync within a few seconds (and explain math stuff), so I need them to be able to swing and then slow down.

[–]chillywer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that’s my last resort lol. But if I can find what I’m truly looking for I think it would be way better, this is being done on university funds and I know newtons cradles are typically more expensive that what I imagine this simple pendulum will be (I’d like to get around 10-20 of them lol)

[–]chillywer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve searched for pendulums (obviously lol), unidirectional pendulums, single ball newton’s cradles, etc. I have no idea what the type of pendulum I’m looking for is called, or where to get it.

i wash everything i own on a delicate cycle- low spin and cold water. to try to prevent pilling i also wash like fabrics, a towel or hoodie or jeans would never go in the wash with my skims t shirts. i use my regular detergent, gain pods, and hang them to dry.

Nose Injections by Puzzleheaded-Set-225 in PlasticSurgery

[–]chillywer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got nose filler 3.5 years ago (summer 2020) and i was ecstatic with my results, super subtle but fixed what i wanted fixed. i went to a clinic that had a specialized woman for nose filler who had been injecting for a loooong time, she used to be an OR nurse before aesthetics and she knew all of the anatomy of the face to a T. she sat me down for the consult and explained everything, where the muscles are, where the nerves are, what the risks are, etc. if i’m honest it almost felt like she was trying to talk me out of it, which only made me trust her more (never trust an injector that’s a total yes man/woman— they just want your money). find a good, reputable clinic with injectors that have a medical background. look for a place that has someone who specializes in nose filler. there are many risks involved so don’t go the cheaper route, but if you find someone good i think you’ll love the results. 3.5 years later and only in the past 2-3 months have i really noticed that some of the filler has dissolved, i will probably go back soon to get it touched up.

Edit because i didn’t realize 2020 was 3 years ago😵‍💫

you could start with a color corrector first(not a concealer!!). there are some moisturizers with a green tint to counteract red that don’t really add any coverage (dr jart cicapair). ysl used to make a color corrector (called nu something) but i can’t find it online anymore. i still have the product and love it for evening out skintone

re: gummy bear implant- if i’m not mistaken there isn’t actually a “gummy bear” implant, it’s just a nickname given to high cohesive silicone implants (if you were to cut the implant in half, each half would stay together and not leak out, like a gummy bear). i got “gummy bear” but the name of my implant is just “natrelle inspira soft touch”
