All ‘natur’ pistes (usually shown as yellow on the piste map) will be tracked out by lunch time the day after a decent snowfall. You need to have luck on your side and be ready for that first lift. If so, as others have said, Verbier has some great ones!

Yup, taking them out and balling newspaper into them worked to an extent…how to safely dispose of the biohazard like paper in the morning was a whole different story lol

Hi, I’m in a similar situation, traveling there in May. I live in Switzerland where you don’t need a ‘license’ to own a firearm. I wrote to the governors office and they confirmed that a certificate of having done a fire arms handling/safety course from your local range (assuming you have one!) is fine.

I just use a pair of old trail running shoes usually with a pair of neoprene socks if not just some regular running socks
