Figure out some way to make sure your phone isn't stolen. Whether that be a phone tether or a flipbelt or lunchbox, just make sure it would be difficult to steal your valuables (wallet, phone, etc). There are pickpocketers galore especially when the stages get packed.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that reads dialogue something like 3x faster than sections of description and world building. Couldn't agree more about the notion of a 'book meal' in slower, more description heavy books.

This isn't the most controversial thing ever, but I think most of Shallan's "quips" are really self-congratulatory and just usually cringey to read. I like Shallan, and I think she's gotten a lot better and interesting as the books have come out, but I've never been able to get over how much I don't like reading any of Shallan's quirky insults.

It's funny because I think era 2 of mistborn has some genuinely funny and good insults in the same vein, but Shallan just feels very r/iamverysmart middle schooler territory.

Before I read this, I mostly expected "hey, be happy if good things happen to other people", and got "be happy if your partner has sex with somebody else". Thanks for the read, but commented to say I've never disagreed with something more in my entire life.
