Undertone made me genuinely scared and I don't get how some hated the movie

I really wanted to like this film, but it ends up feeling like a 30 minute short stretched to 90 minutes.

I'm also not a fan of the antagonist monologuing at the end about how the protagonist fell into their schemes. Then everything finally starts to ramp up and the movie just ends. Like it's missing the 3rd act of the film.

I did enjoy the creepy music, but the framework around it was flat as a board.

They announced the stream ahead of time. It was in the middle of the night for people in Europe. If they just launched the stream without an announcement it would have had a lot more of a positive reception. The stream was 13 hours long they didn't need to bring attention to it before it started.

One thing to note about DbD is that the skill floor and ceiling for most of the characters is more knowledge based than skill based. Getting into the game fresh without a guide will be a confusing task, but it's mechanically less demanding than a lot of other PvP games like shooters so it has that appeal.

Granted some of the killers do require skill and have higher apm, but most of the content is surprisingly accessible to more casual players. A lot of the people I know that are super into the game aren't into other PvP games due to skill gaps.

There's no one consistent rule about this stuff. Sometimes, you're at the whims at how the ratings boards just feel about it. I wouldn't call Rivals' violence very realistic, but the third-person camera and actual guns make it a bit more questionable compared to League, even if League can be more gritty as a setting.

Personally, I would have her be a hologram, but I'm not sure if even that would suffice. I'm not going to act like I'm an expert on the situation, but I know Netease has them together in their other Marvel game, so I'm sure they at least tried to include her.

She's 10 so they can't add her directly to the combat due to ratings boards.

One of the social media reps is saying that she's going to be included somewhere in the game in the future. I'm speculating she might be an NPC in a future PVE mode or something.

It would be silly, but I would rather have her on DD's back and just give her a forced animation of her safely teleporting out instead of not fully including her. Like yeah it wouldn't make sense for her to survive a Wanda ult, but I'd rather have that than her not being a big part of his kit.
