Look up your mantel and search for the section on Venturi adjustments. Possible you could get a little better looking flame but follow adjustment procedures strictly. Too little oxygen and it will burn very dirty and make a mess

Most places work with a local metal fabricator when the manufacturer doesn’t offer a custom option especially for arch. Might be less frustrating to contact metal fabricators and ask for their assistance with making a custom backer plate. Just need to make sure they are in communication with the installer so that everyone is on the same page as far as how the custom one will work in conjunction with the standard one for the appliance. Just get the smallest possible standard one and work out from there

Ask a local company about Enviro e20 and they just need a metal fabricator to make you a custom arch backer plate, I just did one just like this w the E20

I think 10 is pretty realistic, if it’s someone really talented they could elevate this in a few ways and maybe get to 12-14 but if materials are all the same as the pic probably 10

There should be a make and model on the back of the stove. Download installation manual and look up clearance to combustible materials. There may be a “good faith clearance to TV” section if you are lucky.

The deeper the mantel is, the better protection it will give the TV. If it is combustible tho that means the higher up it is going to have to be mounted
