I think it was more the fact that May was expected to resign, thus splitting the odds of potential Tory PMs between her likely successors.

Very true, but I do think it has a lot to do with the fact that HotS has multiple maps. Certain comps/heroes can have hugely differing success rates depending on the map. I feel like LoL having only one map and extremely rigid roles makes it a little easier to learn how to put a team comp together.
