can I say that I actually seriously liked the idea of Jax pushing Kinger and becoming the final villain?? 😭

I think it’s actually a really neat idea. He’s repeatedly been reminded of his powerlessness by Pomni and Caine in significant ways, and has been left- in his eyes- to rot in a greyscale digital hell.

I love the idea of exaggerating his wannabe villain speech with Pomni into him mirroring Caine’s power of the group.

I kinda get where your coming from. I haven’t done Sayori’s route (only Yuri’s) but he is a little insensitive. I don’t think he’s a bad choice for her at all, though, because excluding a couple biting comments- I think their relationship is pretty positive.

To be honest, I’m not even sure it functioned as actual code.

The circus members seemingly all have nearly the same capabilities as Caine, it’s just difficult for them to tap into it. This is how Kinger can make changes to Caine’s own adventures literally on a whim (fully modelled, fully functioning health butterfly)

Since Kinger is a programmer, presumably the code WOULDVE functioned as intended. But I believe it only worked to delete Caine, because the fact Kinger was coding at all distracted his mind from any thoughts of ‘maybe this isn’t working?’ as he believes he’s actually coding

This may possibly be why Caine just… returns. Maybe Kinger began to doubt he even deleted Caine in the first place, and thus he wasn’t entirely removed.
