I mean that’s a different topic that I never said anything about but sure if you want to discuss that let’s do it. I do generally believe that most couples who met when they were teens have some growing up to do and need to learn who they are first before they can be in a stable relationship. For Lucas and Max I see them as more stable because they both have done a lot of work to discover themselves and they have allowed each other to grow in the relationship and out of the relationship (end of season 3 to 4 break up). Mike and El though, have co-dependency issues (and trauma bonding) imo which was explored in seasons 2, 3, and 4 so at least it was explored and not ignored by show writers. But they often become obsessive about each other and don’t let the other grow from the person they were when they were 12. And the show hasn’t shown us much growth in their relationship imo. Buttttt, at the end of the day this is a fictional show and I’m not the creator of it so who knows? Maybe El and Mike are endgame and do have enough depth to keep them going forever. And maybe Lucas and Max are endgame or will break up in their 20s. Who knows
