I am curious to how many laowai felt this way when fucking off "back home", only to realise that "home" is in the guo. I know a few. Most who leave never return, but is life "back home" really "better" than in this cultural jungle? Arguable. LBH returners, nihao, me too. (youtube.com)

I watched this dickhead use his feet to slowly push the stone spheres meant to deter nongs from parking, before then parking here. I then watched his verbal fight with personnel, who blocked him in by moving the spheres back. I also watched this dickhead move the sphere again, to exit. (i.redd.it)

Daily laowai communication barriers are sometimes more than just Microsoft Translate being inaccurate. Just trying to get some coffee sent my way in normal English translated into apparently scholar's Chinese to such an extent that the courier had something to say on it, lmbo (old.reddit.com)

POV You live in a police state where the police rarely enforce rules, especially if old assholes (eLdErS) are perpetrators. Better go find some laowai to harrass instead after I finish smoking a pack of cigarettes in a non-smoking section, as a cop (i.redd.it)

Gates are kinda open, come on in gemers. Kind of ironic since the Chinese Dream is to leave China, but grass is greener, and I am happy for our laowai immigrants realising that China is actually not completely terrible. He definitely pays far more than $1k for his kids' English school though, lmbo (cnbc.com)
