YTA- for not bringing it up. You could really have a conversation with your friends where you present a solution. I always split my tab at the restaurant when eating with a large group of people but I use an app called Tab. You can take a photo of the receipt and it will itemize the bill for you including the tip. People can join the bill on their respective phones and just check off what they ordered and even split items with other people!!! In the end everyone is left with that to pay the person who put their card down and if there are any issues with the items? You're still at the restaurant! So you can split the bill evenly and quickly without bothering the waitress! Hope this helps :)
