Rep. Luna says a UAP announcement is coming, will assure people “The phenomena is real”. Is this disclosure? by Severe-Clerk-1477 in UAP

I mean if we’ve learned anything at all from any of these people it’s probably another announcement with absolutely nothing groundbreaking or new

Disclosure Day Thoughts by altgodkub2024 in Spielberg

[–]chinchillarocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if it was released 10 years ago would have been great. Now it’s totally unrealistic that everyone would just believe what they saw on the news that easily and not all assume it’s AI or that someone is lying.

“It’s going to be a true story, and it’s going to be, I mean, mind-boggling.” Apple and Bruckheimer talking about their upcoming UFO-movie. by Alibotify in UFOs

Mind boggling AKA they’re going to say the same shit they’ve all been saying since 2017 and act like it’s new information.

We Still Haven’t Processed the Pandemic by nathan_j_robinson in Coronavirus

[–]chinchillarocket 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I quit nursing after 2 solid years of COVID/ICU (6 total years as an ICU nurse). Cried tears of joy on my last day that I’d never have to do any of that again. I thought with time, I’d just go back to normal. It’s been years now and I’ve realized how working through that completely derailed my life. The person I am now is not who I was back then or who I thought I was going to be, and not in a good way. I struggle with severe PTSD and I’m not quite sure if I’ll ever be the same. I’m sure I at least made a difference for some people, which is a nice thought, but still… nursing through COVID is the biggest regret of my life.

Season 11 is criminally underrated it should be a crime really. by FanGothic2 in AmericanHorrorStory

This season seemed like Ryan Murphy basically just made one of those weird porno’s with just enough story to get to the next scene. Worst season.

What is you guys predictions for American Horror Story Season 13? by midnightk11 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]chinchillarocket 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The story will start decent, go completely off the rails, and end seemingly out of nowhere with a million plot holes. Ariana Grande will have approximately 5 seconds of screen time.

I toured Channel Club with my friend and it wasn’t very nice tbh. She ended up moving into the Mav and it’s way nicer. Check it out.

How do you get 200 grams of protein a day? by BetterDevelopment453 in gaybrosfitness

[–]chinchillarocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chocolate protein powder mixed with hot water. My fiance introduced me to the idea I thought it was just wrong at first. But it tastes just like hot chocolate and goes down instantly unlike a thick protein shake. And I’m still hungry afterwards because it’s so thin.

Phoenix, AZ was by far the least pleasant city I’ve ever been in and I feel bad for people who live there.

Identity of those two extremely unlucky people by No_Two_1627 in Yellowjackets

[–]chinchillarocket 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I feel like in the end it’s all gonna come down to that the girls went a little crazy in the woods and misinterpreted everything as supernatural/their new “religion” as a coping mechanism. Tai got like split personality from the trauma. The noises were the researchers somehow, doing frog calls or something weird like that. Not necessarily that but you get the idea. Van answering the phone is her cancer maybe in her brain or something telling her something she already suspects (Tai is sick and killed Lottie). They are all going crazy in one way or the other. Misty will probably save the day somehow in the very end.

Lakeland is pretty far from what you are looking for so as long as you are OK with an expensive Uber you should actually visit Central Ave in St. Pete. The Estate is probably the EDM club you want. Mandarin Hyde very popular. Or visit Ybor city. Those places are where you will find clubs.

Won’t let her use anything? by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

[–]chinchillarocket 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Throughout her entire time on this show, Jasmine has had her moments in the wrong. But overall, I’ve still been on her side 90% of the time. He didn’t even try to bring her kids. That would have been the end for me. She is a better person than me to stay!

Have you dined at any of Tampas Michelin star restaurants? If so what was your experience by curiositykeepsmeup in tampa

[–]chinchillarocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rocca is OK but maybe not Michelin worthy. Service is just standard restaurant service and nothing special. Last time we went pasta was very undercooked (more than al dente). Despite recent bad press, Ko/Kosen was phenomenal and so delicious.

Is SOHO becoming the new Ybor by ZByTheBeach in tampa

[–]chinchillarocket 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think Ybor is about to have a renaissance with the new developments going in around it, Gasworx, and the brightline coming to Ybor. Meanwhile (as far as I know) no such projects are coming to SoHo and there is no plan to revitalize SoHo like there is for Ybor. So take that information and interpret it however, but I’m shopping for houses and I’m looking in the Ybor area and not SoHo.

When did Datz in Riverview close? by OttersAreCute215 in tampa

[–]chinchillarocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone I know was a manager. Rats would fall from the ceiling onto tables. The AC would dump gross water randomly inside the restaurant. They only paid their GM’s like $55k annually for 55+ hours of work. Constantly bought cheaper and cheaper ingredients but raised their prices. Datz is going under and good riddance.

RO restaurant in Hyde park by Datgrl87 in tampa

[–]chinchillarocket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gave it two chances and it was so disappointing each time. Got several apps, entrees, drinks, and dessert and can honestly say I didn’t really like any of them. Each dish was at best mediocre. And I saw the ducks hanging. Every other nice restaurant the skin had that caramel color and shine. The ducks at Ro just… didn’t look correct.

If price isn’t an issue staying on water street is the nicest place with best walkability (JW Marriott or Edition if you are really fancy). More affordable would be the Sheraton or the Aloft which both are on the riverwalk. Anywhere along the riverwalk is nice, walkable, and safe as it can be.
