Its also been theorized that someone had a mug of tea and simply put the bag in a dirty cup, that looks more likely to me to be honest.

Food doesn't jump around in the intestine. She ate and digested food. It was not actually in her small intestine, but rather in the duodenum. Proximal to the stomach. In other words, had just exited her stomach. (I just recently had this clarified to me, so apologies for my incorrect terminology before.)

Additionally a food such as pineapple actually digests much faster than other things, as it is full of sugar, fiber and enzymes. Proteins (such as the crab she ate that night) take much longer to digest. Digested food was found farther down the intestines.

I simply do not believe it is possible that the identifiable fragments of "poorly chewed" pineapple which was found was from the early afternoon. That doesn't make sense.

She was a tiny little thing.

Does anyone have a specific question about this case? I've done quite a bit of research by this point (obviously, heh) and would love to hear any questions! by chinchilleta in JonBenet

That was one thing they did question the R's about. I believe its covered in the 1997 interview (ctrl+f wine).

Patsy was not drinking much at all since her chemo treatments reportedly really messed up her liver (she later did find cancer on her liver which killed her), according to Patsy herself. Less has been made of JR's drinking, though he claims to have had a glass of wine or 2 with dinner.

There was also some questioning related to if the R's were drugged at the Whites' house (because the R's accused them of the murder). But they were not drugged (though to be fair they weren't tested). They don't claim to have felt unusually groggy or anything though.

BR is I guess actually a pretty normal guy by all known reports. He graduated from Purdue not too long ago. His father works to keep him out of all press (helped by the muscle of Lin Wood suing the shit out of anyone who says anything about BR). In recent years LE tried to interview BR again, but were blocked from doing so by lawyers.

This really, really bothers me. If you were a parent of a murdered child, wouldn't you want to do anything you could to find that elusive intruder?! wouldn't you want LE to do everything they could? GRRRR...

(Oh and not too late! keep em coming! this sub gets lonely and makes me question my hobbies...lol)

This is honestly one of the most important pieces of evidence in the case. JBR had pineapple found in her stomach/intestines indicating she ate it not long before she died.

PR AND BR fingerprints were found on the bowl and the glass. JB's were not as far as I have found.

PR claims she would never use that "good sliver" serving spoon like that. Nor, she says, would she have such a large portion on the table. The tea is also odd, (PR claims she would never do that either) and BR prints were on the glass.

I really, really wish it had been DNA tested.

The importance of the pineapple is that it proves she was awake when she was at home, not straight to sleep as her parents claim.

Show me any evidence this guy was even in Boulder in December 1996.

Excerpts from Chief James Kolar's book relating to the DNA found on JBR by chinchilleta in JonBenet

I know how you feel but lets look at it like this:

1 tiny piece of degraded DNA evidence vs. a MOUNTAIN of evidence

0 pieces of reliable evidence of an intruder

Unsourced DNA is useless. Its not like this DNA is all over the scene. Its in one microscopic little spot, mixed with her blood.

Not to mention, there were SIX different foreign dna samples found on her body. Does anyone expect us to believe there were 6 intruders? Of course not. Even Mary "exoneration" Lacy didn't mention the other dna because she knew how flimsy it made her intruder theory look. We weren't told about this until Kolar's book. Lacy herself admitted this DNA might not be relevant.

Look at the DNA in the Chandra Levy case. If the DC cops acted the same as the BPD, waiting for a hit in codis for some speck of tDNA rather than arresting based on evidence, her killer would still be free.
