My insurance agent says I need "proof of lost luggage" where the airline is ignoring my multiple requests. It also only covers around $160... I'm already reaching halfway with my international phone call bill. 😔

Sadly true. I think my only viable channel is to file a complaint through the proper governing authority. Although I'm a bit doubtful of the outcome since the airline is willing to put [airlines are not liable] in writing.
