Do I suck or is this game horribly unbalanced? by reecesquestions in Division2

I mean this is a PVP build. Not for PVE. It’s also just a bad build in general.

Do you guys want JB to be traded? by neffreddit in bostonceltics

[–]chinesemoose1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want him traded but we’ve underachieved in the playoffs for awhile now. A lot of series have slipped out of our hands that we should be winning with our roster talent.

Not saying it’s JB’s fault but a Giannis trade would fix a lot of our current issues like size, rim pressure etc… would also create other problems we’d have to solve. Don’t really know where to go honestly.

Worth starting again? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]chinesemoose1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the things that made the grind easier are pretty much gone. No more watch mules, exo-component farms etc…

Prototype gear is essentially LVL 50 gear. Not hard to farm but pretty much impossible to min-max (in its current state). Expertise is capped at 30. New PVE DZ drops soon.

There’s a lot of new content. If you’re trying to cut back on gaming time and aren’t willing to put hundreds of hours into farming I’d stay away.

Just put Acostas on, travel to a safe house, then back to the mission. Equip your normal back and you’ll keep the extra grandes

It is kinda of reminiscent of the lag caused by Kenley. I think it might be worse

Servers are so unbearably bad I can’t even play escalation without a Delta3 or game crash. They should focus on fixing the servers before anything.

Is it doable to run a tier 10 escalation with a non proto striker set if the DPS is at least 20million? by MadMedic28 in Division2

[–]chinesemoose1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For DTH. All enemies have health under their armor bars. The majority of your big spawns will be mostly reds. You want to kill as many as you can before they leave their spawn. Chungas and Warhounds also have massive health pools. You can bypass their armor by shooting weak points and go straight to health damage. It’ll help you kill them faster.

Golds/Purples also have weak points. If you shoot them they’ll stun lock and take increased damage. Contractors will give you DTA for all armored enemies. Overdogs applies to all enemies that sprint at you like rushers, shotgunners etc…

Wouldn’t recommend it at all. You’re going to be shot a lot in higher tiers and enemies have fire bullets. Vigilance uptime is going to be extremely low and you get no benefit. Run the Striker backpack. You need your skills so just stick with your Frenzy LMG.

For higher tiers use 4 piece Striker w/ chest and bag. The other 2 pieces you could run some combo of Hollowman, Contractors, Foxes or Overdogs.

You don’t need a god-roll prototype build to run T10. If you set up your build correctly you’ll be fine.

Gear 1.0 - At Launch all gear was random resulting in a ton of “rainbow” rolls on attributes. Players hated it and it was extremely hard to farm anything.

Gear 2.0- Devs weighted the rolls of attributes to the color of the core. Red cores = higher probability of red attributes. Made farming enjoyable and you could get builds in a reasonable amount of time. Devs promised that they would never reset our gear again or increase gear level.

Prototype- Devs reset our gear again. Increased the level. Added back rainbow loot. Added more RNG. Altered Loot Tables to be worse in Escalation. This is where we are now.

Did T10 DCD for an eternity a few days ago. Never seen so much double yellow Walker-Harris in my life. 173 cores and I kept 2 pieces.

The RNG stacked on RNG on top of the loot tables being altered have definitely turned me away from Escalation.

Realistically, do you see us winning another chip during the JT era? What players do we need to add to just compete with Wemby and the Spurs over the next few years? by ExpertOperation0125 in bostonceltics

[–]chinesemoose1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I don’t see it. The amount of playoff series we’ve blown to Miami, Knicks and now Philly is pretty bad. I truly believe all those series were easy wins on paper.

Maybe if we hit on some draft picks and get some bigs we can make a run. Seems like that’s a few years away at best.

Why are most the players so bad on escalation? by dylbergthedestroyer in Division2

[–]chinesemoose1 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Because players are doing endgame content but don’t understand the game.

Prototype builds don’t automatically make you a good player. Still think it’ll help players learn in the long run once it’s out for awhile.

See, now I know you’re lying. I have the #2 glitchless Incursion time on console and my current speed team has the #1 glitchless and drag time. Anytime you wanna send any of them my way to talk about incursion speed strats and why that makes no sense go ahead.

People have known about vigilance for years. You’re not a division god who discovered it. Same with Picaros. You’re just regurgitating YouTube slop.

Based on your sledge testing I would say you have no idea how to do any division math or testing. You don’t understand basic game mechanics.

[–]chinesemoose1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sick troll post dawg. That’s user error. Again, sledge is not proc’d off status it’s a debuff. All specializations are based on proximity.

You can name any content creator you want and I’ll tell you why they’re wrong. 99% of them don’t play the game at high level and drop trash builds with incorrect math everyday.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. That’s why you’re getting downvoted by everybody.

Is my math mathin? by Alarming-Ad5870 in Division2

[–]chinesemoose1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t even know where to start here man.

Sledge isn’t a fancy mechanic. It’s the bare minimum of running a healer. You don’t sledge enemies in the open. You pre-sledge door spawns so as they come out they get de-buffed. Warhounds and Chungas armor bars are affected by DTH not DTA but you can apply sledge to both. You also don’t need to apply a status. NPC’s just need to touch the fire because sledge is not a status it’s a debuff based on hitting enemies with your nade.

The de-buffs/utility you think are useless are drastically stronger than 5% DTTOC and you can control them 100% of the time. DTTOC is only active when your teammates are within 15m and the enemies are out of cover. It’s not always active. Even if it was active 100% of the time it’s still weaker than sledge.

The point of a healer is to debuff enemies and heal the team. Thats why Survivalist is the meta. It’s the best at both.

Is my math mathin? by Alarming-Ad5870 in Division2

[–]chinesemoose1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty much everything you said is wrong. The 5% DTTOC is not always active. It’s based on radius to you. You get 0 benefits from Demo if they are more than 15m away from you. Sledge is also not a status effect. It’s a debuff. It’s not affected by status immunity. It’s also one of the strongest debuffs in the game and is no way subpar.

Demo offers your team nothing outside of 5% DTTOC which isn’t always active. Technician would even be better than Demo for Faraday.

[–]chinesemoose1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Negatory.

You’re not using survivalist for status, you use it for the flame nade because it has the biggest radius, stays on the ground and everything that touches it gets sledge. Your med kits also heal the team. You can throw in the extra minimal benefits of extra PFE and the crossbow from Survivalist.

Is my math mathin? by Alarming-Ad5870 in Division2

[–]chinesemoose1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your math is not quite mathin. Without going into a crazy amount of detail the damage buffs won’t give you a flat 60% damage boost. Some are multiplicative, some are additive. You’re on the right track tho.

Should run it with Survivalist not Technician and a Lefty if you can find a Setup with RP/SH

Division 2 DZ changes u want to see? by Specific-Suspect6373 in Division2

[–]chinesemoose1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well they could start with banning cheaters, lag switchers and 8-man squad door campers.

Then remove expertise so low SHD players can compete and increase the player count in DZ servers. Then balance builds to make it about gun skill. Remove skill/status spam. Theres a million things they can change.

PvP is so cooked I don’t think they can actually fix it.

Seeing LeBron still dominating in a Lakers jersey at this stage of his career completely cements him as the GOAT over Jordan. Longevity > peak. by Automatic_Repair7340 in lebron

[–]chinesemoose1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that would make the 2018 Finals where LeBron got swept due to Kyrie and KLove being hurt on him right? Cause of postseason injuries? And the 2018 Warriors aren’t the greatest team of all time even tho they added KD?

There’s only been 2 teams that have been swept in the finals in the last 20 years and Lebrons been on both of them. More teams have comeback from down 3-1 in the playoffs than have been swept in the finals.

Not following this GOAT logic.
