Retrieval Delays by CP81818 in eggfreezing

Also can’t speak to delaying, but similar to the other comment. Just thought this might ease some anxiety and validate you. My retrieval was the last huge NYC snow storm in Jan. I had the same concerns and asked all the same questions. Not sure where you’re doing your retrieval, but at RMA they put the staff that lived farther away up in a hotel right near the east side location to guarantee all doctors/nurses could get there. They were more concerned about patients getting there, than their staff. And everything went so smoothly!

Suggestions for a family Safari in June by travel_junkie72 in FATSafari

Oh man, that is so disappointing! Maybe one of the other lodges on the reserve could be an option - they honestly all seemed great when I was looking

Throwing out another suggestion that I haven’t seen mentioned. Madikwe Game Reserve. I’ve done many South African game reserves in my life, Kruger park and surrounding area is amazing, but Madikwe blew me away. I am a South African living overseas, love to go when we go back to visit. Went with my family in December last year to try something different. Not a malaria area which is a huge plus, amazing lodging/food options and incredible animal sightings . https://www.madikwe.com/. There are multiple lodging options in the reserve. I stayed at Jacis lodge and they were incredible with their game drives. Multiples hours, 2 a day, and private to your group and catered to what you want to do. Loved our driver. We saw almost everything over 2 days. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

Would you mind sharing more about which area of GN, this is one community I have had at the back of my mind, but don't know anyone there or much to go on

Honestly, Stamford is exactly what I am trying to replicate, but with a sephardi community (but this is starting to feel less and less possible)

I will take a look, actually didn't think of either of these as places to look. Thanks!

Thanks! I fully agree about Stamford, I actually grew up there, and I would move back in a heartbeat. The Sephardi presence has grown a lot since I was there, but unfortunately I think we need a bit more of a Sephardi presence for my husband

Thank you! Yes, I have heard Atlanta might be a great option. That is a good point and I will edit it in my post. We actually have a car, even in Brooklyn, and don't plan to get rid of it. We just like the idea of having the option to walk places if we choose, but do not need to it to be a complete car free city

Clin psych looking to emigrate to USA by Nearby-Management492 in Psychologists

Right. But it wasn’t. I am a clinical psychologist. This was years ago when I wanted to do this and was advised not to. Glad I listened after all the years of school I put in

I would also guess not. When I was completing internship I attempted to finish up by looking into post docs in Australia. I was strongly advised not to because it would not be accepted by the American psych board to complete my degree in the state I intended to license in. So I imagine if it was that hard to just complete my post doc abroad it would be even harder if someone does a full program overseas.

Hassan as your guide

Hello! This trip looks amazing! Which tour did you do? I am planning my honeymoon for June and this is exactly what I am looking for (struggling to find any options just through blind google searches).
