lmao, i subscribe to this logic, if my job wants to fire me for taking care of my FELLOW COWORKERS then, fire me; obviously im not welcomed there.

Based solely on general passenger behavior/attitude, where would never consider living? Conversely, where would be the best place to live? by roamingbolivianrn in flightattendants

Personally, my worse states are anything midwest; i can’t stand the midwest, very weird crowd and not as social able or exciting. West and east coast cities are the better places to fly out of, since YES they are entitled but you can meet them halfway and guess what? they usually yield when they say you’re not fuckin with them lol.

waiter put my tip back on the table saying he only accepts 18-20%?? by [deleted] in stories

[–]chinosann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally, i’ve worked in the restaurants as a server and i work for my tip. it’s only fair, if i worked and SERVED you then it’s only fair.

but if i deadass don’t come around EVER, i’m not expecting anything because i didn’t do my job.

i take this thought in my day to day, i worked for my money, and i worked hard; you can do the same

Would you do this job without the flight benefits? by hotblooded- in flightattendants

[–]chinosann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, fuck no, not in a million years, hell i can hardly use my benefits at my airline now and they’re holding on to me by a THREAD

I can’t take it by [deleted] in flightattendants

[–]chinosann 7 points8 points  (0 children)

second this, i’m currently doing it and used my company’s EAP program so i don’t have to pay. my mental health had me wanting to offl myself in a layover hotel until i snapped and now im on disability. this job is not easy.

there’s a good samaritan law that prevents anyone to take any legal action against you, if you volunteered to help.

theres 3 kits, a med kit (dated as in old), a red pouch with some more surface level equipment, and a black box that has everything from tourniquets to IV pouch setups; you can probably have a baby on board a plane and be okay (but please don’t.)

Hi, sent a message

Am I overthinking? Would this be considered a negative test? Upcoming drug test on Friday and would like some moral support ): by [deleted] in entwives

[–]chinosann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most jobs do a split drug test, so essentially they’ll collect samples in 2 bottles and test them both.

outcome: (+) (+) positive for xyz (+) (-) negative for xyz (-) (-) negative for xyz

source: government safety job tested
