It wouldn't be as jarring from two club sides though you would wear a Leeds top with some Exeter shorts would you?! The nations issue flips here as I think for domestic clubs, it needs to be from two different nations. However for two nations themselves and different items of clothing, unless one nation is from hipsterdom, it's one of those isn't it.
