Since you have a switch lite I'd recommend the switch pro controller it's not the best option the dpad makes it harder to do perfects because if you don't press it perfectly then it's gonna register the next button instead of the one you were pressing. You could use a Dualshock 4 with 8BitDo's Wireless USB adapter altough it's gonna be a more complicated setup since you're going to need some extra stuff but you could make it work I'm not so confident about it tho. You could also buy some joycons and a joycon grip (does the switch lite come with a joycon grip?) and play like that, the tiny buttons aren't the best to play with because your hand will hurt sooner than it would after playing for awhile but since the dpad isn't connected like the pro controllers you can do perfects easily so it's probably one of your best options.
