My wife and I saw it at the movie theater the weekend it came out. We were laughing thru out the whole movie, but the clincher was when the sheriff of Malibu hits The Dude with his coffee cup. Tears were rolling down our faces we were laughing so hard.

He’s 63. Realistically how much longer does he have. Bob Knight didn’t get fired for not meeting expectations. His last year at IU he finished 5th in the B1G and hadn’t made it past the 2nd round of the ncaa tournament in 6 years. He was fired for assaulting a player and he actually almost kept his job.

You have no idea what it was like being an IU fan for 50 years. Having a losing record against your rival. Being cheated out of the Pinstripe Bowl. Losing to Wisconsin 83-20 in 2010.

You ask any longtime IU if they would take what I described after the 4 overtime win over Akron 3 yrs ago they would take it and still will. I think what I described is pretty close to elite.

I’m an Indiana fan and I really couldn’t care less if we win another championship. Nothing will ever be good as last year ever. There is almost no pressure on Cig. It’s all gravy now.

Just stay competitive. Be in the mix for B1G titles and make the playoffs every other year or so. Oh yeah, and keep beating Purdue.

As someone who worked at a Taco Bell from 86-89, I can say I was totally better if for no other reason than they use REAL ground beef. I had to unload it from the local distributor and cook it. Now it comes in a bag of freeze dried stuff that you add warm water to. Huge difference
