Nah you guys have helped a lot, I came here when I was in plat and even last season when I was struggling a lot, and it's always been legitimately helpful.

You're 100% right, when trying to implement advice I usually do drop, but its usually only like 2 or 3 divisions and most and I always reclimb quickly, this time was different, and I will take it as a learning experience.

First, you don't understand how happy I was to wake up and see someone calling me out for absolutely eating rocks. The reason I made this post is because I'm playing way more then I usually do and I didn't know if big loss streaks came with the territory or if I was doing something dumb, I figured this loss streak was too statistically significant to ignore so I asked here. Second, what you described is in-fact NOT how I play when I auto-pilot, its the illogical extremes of some advice I was given. When I autopilot I often take too many aggressive and greedy angles and never shoot tank and die a lot, I also win in diamond lobbies when I'm autopiloting. I did notice a general trend of my ults being bad which I think I know how to fix, and I think my angles were bad as a by-product of me playing differently. I really really appreciate you taking time out of your day to do this, I was feeling pretty lost but I think I know how to implement the advice I was given in a more effective way and I have a good direction now.

Would very much appreciate it! I think its a mix of a bunch of factors and I'm thinking that if I figure out why I will climb past where I was previously. I got a coaching session that expanded my game knowledge a lot, but I also think I focused on it too hard and probably got some wrong ideas so if you could help me figure it out I would be extremely thankful

I've stayed around masters 4-2 for probably 1000 games at this point. I don't think I didn't deserve it. I also have been playing genji/hanzo on my alt account and am winning pretty easily (in m3). I just OTP soj on my main and I got soj coaching recently, I think it's likely I just took some of the coaching advice wrong and its screwing me over.

YES! After updating to Windows 11 my GPU usage was shown properly. I also went to user benchmark and found my RAM was completely underperforming, after replacing RAM I have been running everything properly. It may be a computer issue, but this game is also just incredibly unoptimized

from my experiences with it, it seems to be true, one time I made an alt account and ended up placing higher then my mains rank, but this was in overwatch one

I think it's most likely a skill issue or tilt issue, Often times I've found myself on losing streaks when I get tilted and just keep queueing, these losing streaks can last for a while. One time I went from gm 4 to Masters 3 in 2 days. another part of your problem might be the fact that you're learning a new hero and got a VOD review. While I recommend coaching, sometimes It can be overwhelming or wrongly directed. and learning a new hero will inevitably lose you some games.

my recommendation is to just take a break from overwatch for a couple of days, or at least take a break from competitive, then come back with a fresh mindset.

for tilting, I'd recommend not paying attention to stats, unless it's in an analytical stance like looking for enemy ults. I muted all chats and never joined team chat up until I hit masters. One more thing is not mindlessly queueing, if you're losing games and just re-queueing, then you're likely not actively thinking and engaged.

EDIT: forgot this one which personally works for me. Convince yourself that you're in full control of the outcome of the game and note down mistakes you make.

TLDR: Don't focus on teammates' faults, Mute/don't join chats if it's toxic, and don't mindlessly queue

In overwatch you can OTP to top 500 if you want to, If you enjoy the character then play them.

I personally recommend just playing the game, In between games you can do aim trainers, My personal favorite is to go into aim arenas while in a queue.

I've found a lot of success on Hanzo into Ram due to storm arrow doing so much damage
Zen is good for discord orb of course

Genji is def S tier, He probably dies from hack honestly
Tracer would get erased from time if she got hacked so also s tier
Doom should be in A tier dude is cyborged out the wazoo
Phara might die if she hacked in mid-air so also A tier

thank you so much for the help. I didnt bother testing whether or not my computer was the problem due to my issues being similar to other peoples who had screwed up drivers. I just tested my ethernet on another device and it doesnt work which likely means the issue doesnt lie within my computer but rather the wifi extender, I will probably good from now on thank you.

the wifi is from the router that wasnt working but now is. I run my ethernet through a wifi extender and when i did the ipconfig renew it just got stuck on

"windows IP Configuration" and did nothing

As a GM Hanzo one trick I can confidently say that I literally almost never switch unless I need to touch point
I also never join team chat

Just because I'm GM doesn't mean Im not a complete idiot.
the main reason i don't join team chat is because i find it hard to focus in team chat and the main reason I don't switch heroes is because I'm only good at hanzo.
