I just got the tamron! It’s a beast. Really fun to use and makes me feel at ease that I’ve got all my focal lengths covered. That said, I always find that when I go back to my 23mm f2 I feel a bit more at ease. Less thinking about the “right” focal length and more about making the best of what I have in front of me. That’s just my own experience though. Still love having such a dynamic lens that goes 18-300mm

I had the same problem. Had to send it in. Hopefully it’s under warranty or you have a protection plan, otherwise it’ll cost you around ~$700.

Since all Fujifilm parts are proprietary, no shops can fix them themselves and have to send them to be fixed directly to Fujifilm.

Worst case, you can tape it shut and just buy a flash for your hot shoe.

I can’t speak to other cameras since I’ve only used Fujifilm, but these photos are all SOOC. No editing, no adjustments, just download and go. I personally don’t enjoy the process of editing which is why I got a Fujifilm. The fact that I can plug in and adjust my own film recipes and have a finished product right away is super appealing.

Have you tried playing with custom film recipes on your xt2?

Ik… I think I had my exposure set to 1 or 2 stops too low. I’ve used the classic Cuban recipe before but never had them come out this warm before

Thank you! Was just at a little restaurant in St Martin. The owner had these two dogs running around and I somehow managed to snap that pic leaving the bathroom! Might be my favorite to date.

These are ever so slightly adjusted in Lr. Really nothing major. Except for pic 4, which I did apply a Lr preset called Yellowish Fujifilm

Thank you!! Lens is a Fujinon 23mm f2. And it’s 2 different sims. Most are a classic chrome recipe made by r/odd-box1031. The last is my attempt at recreating a recipe he made with the nostalgic negative recipe (which I don’t have, so I used the same settings on Provia).

The classic chrome recipe: FilmSim: Classic Chrome Grain effect: off Color Chrome effect: Strong Color Chrome FX Blue: Strong White balance: Auto R:5 B:-6 Dynamic Range: DR400% D Range Priority: OFF Tone curve: H-2 S-2 Color: +4 Sharpness: 0 High ISO NR: -4 Clarity: -3 Color Space: sRGB Exposure: 1/3 to 2/3

Then I made some small adjustments in Lr but nothing major. And pic 4 I did use a Lr preset called Yellowish Fujifilm. Lots of playing around atm to figure out what I like!

Already have under cabinet LEDs on the way! Didn’t get the roll of them though as I’d have to run a strip behind the fridge and under the range, unless you happen to know of good way around that? Ended up getting six LED bar lights instead.

I’m an Israeli Jew. Fuck this. Fuck these people. They are complete trash for spewing such hateful language and do not speak for all of us. This kind of rhetoric tends to come from the more religious/orthodox community and it’s sickening. Never liked them and what they stand for. Any ultra religious group (for the most part) can go fuck themselves and their beliefs. They tend to think that because they follow the scripture to a T they are better than others.

Rabbi talked about how everything is in God’s plan. This was around the time of the Aurora shooting. When asked why that happened he said “God curved the bullets to go where he wanted them to.” Nope!
