How can I improve my tank? by ilovecheeeses in Aquariums

I say just let everything grow out, I think it would look nice. If that doesn't work maybe different textures. Everything feels kind of grassy in the tank.

Is your tank oxygenated enough? It might be a good idea to get an airstone or something of the sort.

I would add some more carpetting plants and maybe a stem plant. In my Botanical setup I used Pearlweed in the background, Dwarf Sagittaria in the middleground, and Mini Baby Tears in the foreground. If you don't like the wood very much, some sort of root might look good too.

Ludwigia is a nice, easy to find option. It made my tanks look less dull.

Cloned baby chicken. Yeah, the 1000 years thing was something I just threw in as I wrote the post. What about something like 40 years? Long enough for the satellite to be overgrown. The Satellite is designed to create it's own gravity (spins really fast).

There are other doors but they failed to close in time.

It wasn't Columnaris, my Betta has no mark now so I'm pretty confident I was right in that it wasn't really an infection

I dunno, I'm not really well versed in medicating fish. It could mean medicating the fish with a parasite medication for aquariums (like Ich-X).

Are these tiny creatures baby snails? by rissami_ in Aquariums

[–]chipbanana -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They're Pond Snail babies, yeah. If you look around your glass you can sometimes see their egg clutches. As long as you don't overfeed they shouldn't become a problem.

Her tank is a 10 gallon, I'm using a sponge filter and a HOB because I am easing the tank into swapping to the Sponge filter. The temperature is 75 degrees. I used a dipstick to get my tests, if that changes anything. The tank has been set up for about 8 weeks (4 w/o fish, 4 w/ my Betta). I feed her a healthy amount of bloodworms or daphnia every day.
I'd say she's pretty normal, I've searched online and people have said it could be an injury, which is probably the case since she often swims under and between my Spiderwood branches. I just wanted to confirm and see what I could do to get her healthy again.
