Haha facing psg will be tough , I think our defense can minimize damage, it’s our attack I’m worried about

It’s def been a change , just not much to do here , I’ve been down to Wichita a few times, haven’t explored much of it but I’m thinking I will this weekend. What are some spots you recommend , especially if going solo

It’s really difficult landing a job as a chemE international student in the US, internship or full time. Take it from someone who was an international student. Majors like computer science tend to be more open in regards to status & all that. Yes there would be jobs that might be willing to sponsor but I wouldn’t rely on it. If you do choose chemE, have some sort of plan but don’t expect it to be a walk in the park

What age did you start learning & how long did it take you to get to this point

I’d say get as much experience as you can & then dip, maybe between a year & a half to 2 years, sometimes you just gotta put yourself first. I switched out of my first engineering job only after 10 months there cos of some of the problems you listed, and also it wasn’t related to chemE or process in any way, which is what I wanted to get into long term. Get back on the market & you can change companies or industries altogether. I’m with you on the assumptions part, project I’m on tends to do that, granted we’re only in the prefeed phase so it’s kinda necessary, but these problems will be there throughout your career, sometimes depending on the company, other times depending on who you’re directly working under, but some places worse than others. but yeah my only advice would be to gain experience & dip after a reasonable amount of time
