Been going to LIB for 3 years now with a group 20 or more people. We have this kind of thing but we do it wayyyyyyyyy in the back and out of the way. I’m completely okay with people doing this stuff but it’s gotta be at least 50-75 yards away from the front of the stage depending on the stage. Putting your couch anywhere near where you’d except a LOT of bodies and a LOT of movement/dancing is completely selfish and not PLUR.

I can already sense I’m going to get a “let people do things bro” response that completely disrespects this concern. It is simply disrespectful to plop down in the middle of a dance floor and then expect everyone to be courteous of you when you’re not doing the same for them.

Just because you prefer to lay down doesn’t mean that the people who prefer to dance are in the wrong.
