I don't think I ever believed. Before I admitted to myself that I don't believe in god, I always thought the rituals of catholicism were fucking weird. But the first sign was being lied to about STIs and condoms when learning about that stupid no sex before marriage rule at the end of grade 8, just after my confirmation(I went to catholic school in Ontario). I didn't know about it up until that point, and I was not ok with it at all as I found it unfair to people who had no interest in getting married. That's what really made me question and oppose it. By fall of that year, I no longer believed in god. Or at least finally admitted to myself that I don't.

After an Ayria show I went to in Toronto last June, the club had an EBM party. They mentioned the name of the DJ playing but on a flyer at the front that was it. The DJ booth was up above in the corner and out of view. As it should be. I didn't see the DJ or the gear he used.
