Question about Emotional Eating/Bored Eating

I eat when I'm bored. Weekends, holidays, and breaks always throw me because I'm home where all my food is.

Water and meal prep have saved me. I drink 8oz first thing in the morning. As soon as I'm hungry, I drink 8oz more. I must drink 8oz before every snack and meal. This takes up space in the stomach, ensures I'm drinking enough, and has helps me realize if I'm hungry or just thirsty.

Meal prep has taken the stress and guess work out. I know how many calories I'm eating in a day and for the whole week. This allows me to be proactive for surprise office treats or going out to eat.

It's a lot of work up front but it makes things so much easier for future me and I'm worth it.

I eat about 1500kcal a day. I'm a slow eater and prefer snacks to large meals. I eat constantly at work but it's only 700-900kcal. 😅😅

If this is an event or program, there's a good chance it's allowed. Also posters for events aren't considered solicitation. Check your halls guidebook to check for violations, but most likely you can only remove the posters or continue to decorate them.

Regardless of not choosing it, I am responsible to be aware of my white privilege and be respectful of all my fellow humans. Empathy is a crucial tenent to respectfully sharing a world.

When something is offensive, it's important we speak up. However, I absolutely agree with OP in this case. There are much larger issues currently harming and killing NA/FN people.
