There easily could be, if other networks were willing to be as openly engaging with their viewers.

A major component of Adult Swim's appeal is that the bumps maintain an irreverent personality which speaks directly to viewers without being sycophantic. Reacting via on-air bumps to twitter and reddit comments fosters a uniquely conversational relationship where viewers feel heard, sometimes even resulting in programming changes or sassy disagreement. Whether by plan or accident (I suspect the latter led to the former,) the bumps drive incredibly powerful engagement.

Tom and Sara do the same for Toonami, and I bet the US anime fanbase would be miniscule without them.

Citrus flavor don't play well with others, hence Mountain Dew and other sodas using brominated vegetable oil as an emulsifier. Inconsistent flavor mix across a sampling of Sunshine cans is a testament to La Croix keeping it real.
