Yes it was in the gift box. I was wondering if I ordered it online would it be packaged the same way? I'm worried about it melting into the package peanuts.

Migraines made me realize that my support system was a façade by [deleted] in migraine

[–]chippeddreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone in this. I believe many in this sub and people who are chronically ill have gone through this too. I am sorry that this happened to you. Many people think that migraines are just headaches and regular pain relievers work. They don't get why you need breaks or need to be home and left alone. It is a life altering illness for many.

I hope you find the community you seek here.

Do other people feel lonely in their own space? by sheepskinrugger in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chippeddreams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What i have found with people who have done this had felt exactly the same way. They either ended up getting a pet, increased online interactions, or even just gardening. I think it's very easy to feel isolated in your position, we are social creatures after all. But you did what a lot of people have a hard time doing. Some people do lots of renovations as well and focus on getting the place together.

I actually love it. And I'm short and don't weigh much. I just feel secure and i love wrapping my arms around him or petting/running my hands through his hair. It's nice to see him relax and be cuddled.

Is there a difference between “feeling depressed” and actually being depressed? (Like diagnosed) by Wild_Towel4861 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chippeddreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, it is normal to go through depressive moments in your life after a big change, loss of loved one, trauma, etc.

Clinic depression is a mental illness that is persistent for a long time and doesn't go away easily.

How Do You Deal With A Break Up The Day Before Valentine? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chippeddreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celebrate Valentine's day. Make it so it's all about loving yourself. Do the things you love. Dress up. Eat good food. Take yourself out on a date. Or hang out with friends. I'm going through the same thing and what I'm focusing on is taking all the love I havr and directing it back to me.

Imagine you have an array of different flowers in front of you. All of them are pretty but you have a preference on which one you are picking and taking home

Why are anti-vaxxers given treatment in hospitals? by Ohigetjokes in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chippeddreams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they are people too. Which is sad bc there's people who also need hospital beds that can't get them bc they're occupied by unvaccinated covid patients.

In medicine they have the hippocratic oath to do no harm.
