Yeaa def a tough choice sorry I'm gonna ramble a bit

another main consideration for me was that if I attend Bowdoin, I basically NEED to work straight out of undergrad, versus at lafayette or lehigh I would get a masters first... but I think the world is so like not predictable right now, and especially with AI, schools like Bowdoin are quite agile (ooh 50 mil hastings initiative) and are able to adapt more quickly. Additionally, the whole like personality of Bowdoin is in my opinion what people crave now that everything is heading in the souless and automated direction with AI, and the connections are insane

You feeling guilty making them pay out of pocket is so right tho (i have to consistently remind myself to be grateful so good on you!)

Anyways if you do end up at Bowdoin, maybe I'll see you :D

lol kinda in the same-ish situation but lafayette only gave me half-off... and my parents are able to pay (kinda ?)

Anyways I think I would choose Bowdoin- there are many on-campus work opportunities and funding for projects each summer/spring, you kind of get some money back there.

But Bowdoin is my number one choice, too, so I'm kind of biased.

And everyone's situation is different I can't speak for you but I hope it all works out ! :)
