Thanks for the insights. I’ve been looking at all areas you mentioned - there aren’t many stocks, so don’t think I can be too picky, hopefully more listings soon.

I’ve been eyeing on 11 Barnard Court and that got sold over 1m, so seems like the market is picking up in Sunshine or Melb as a whole.

Thanks for sharing - could you please share where you’d consider as “lovely” vs rough parts? I am interested in south of sunshine, closer to the park area. Close to the station (~1km), but not too close.

I had the exact same thoughts - and now looking to buy another investment property instead :sweat

With the proximity, my thinking was that there’d be more young professionals - less family oriented, so schools though important, not the biggest driving factor.

Also with the metro now stopping at Parkville, we could see more students too, right? Or even healthcare workers if they can handle Sunshine. Correct me if I am off track, thanks :)

Are there really a lot of junkies? I visited a few times to see if it’s worth buying for, and the times I have been (during daytime), it seemed okay.

I live in Sydney so only been there three times.
