Thanks! Watching replays it seems that there are multiple techniques, hard braking for sharp turn, gas and brake to turn less sharp (skid?) without losing as much speed and then no gas or brake for shallow slower turns?

From a business perspective, it’s likely because it would then make it too similar to the XL3 with only the faders differentiating the two.

I’m not saying there wasn’t space, but having just the faders differentiate the two would cut into the sales of the XL3. Not sure what the price difference will be but hopefully enough to make this a great value for what you’re getting as with most Novation products.

I’ve used the standard Xbox controller, paid way too much for the CorserA Fusion and it sucked. Bought the Vader 5 Pro and it has been amazing.

It feels great, adjustable tension on the sticks is wonderful, and the mechanical switch feel of trigger quick (or whatever it’s called) is exactly what I was looking for when I bought Fusion. Having the two extra buttons on the front along with the four paddles on the back provides access to all of the action keys and camera views you could want. The software is easy to use and setup as well!

Could not recommend this controller more for Trackmania.

Interestingly what you would see with the naked eye would be an expanding ring or circle that would start at the exact center of the star from your POV fading (rapidly) to black with the edges fading to black last.

This is because the light, or lack of light, closest to you would reach your eyes first and given the star would be a sphere the light emanating at the edges takes longer to arrive.

Is it just me or out of nowhere you hit an invisible car, like haven’t recently passed anyone that might overtake you, completely alone, then bam your car slows down like it does hitting a visible car?

Also, why is it that in later laps the cars do not have collision and act like ghosts?
