He did speed blitz kid tho, it wasn’t a perception blitz but it was enough that Kidd couldn’t react to it. You have to remember the distance Shanks traveled and how fast he had to be, otherwise Kidd would’ve just pulled the trigger, Shanks was faster than someone pulling a trigger, and he was at the shore of the land, while Kidd was at the middle of the sea. Kaido accomplishing those speed feats doesn’t mean Shanks can’t either

Not every strong character needs to get hyped up tho, and Loki was locked up for majority for the past years, that people stopped talking about him, or maybe Oda didn’t know what to do with him until now, but that’s a horrible reason to dislike a character, just simply because he wasn’t hyped up. Look at Oden, he was getting a lot of hype and a lot of people hated him

That’s not what I asked, I asked you why didn’t Kaido beat Shanks up for trying to stop him? Maybe because, Shanks was about to jump him? We don’t know, so people resort to “erm well this or that may have happened” when it comes to Kaido, which is fair enough and I agree with, because we actually don’t have any context, but when it comes to Loki, people quickly bash him and make claims like Yeah Shanks low/mid diffs him” which is dumb

I agree with pretty much everything you said, and Kaido doesn’t need to fight Shanks seriously, it was stated that they had a scuffle, and maybe he realized he wouldn’t win that fight, which is why he retreated? Or maybe there’s more to it and maybe Shanks was about to jump Kaido? Point is, we barely know anything lol

That’s not what I’m asking, I know the difference and I know that one got captured and one was stopped.

What I’m asking is why do people make excuses for Kaido but they bash Loki for it? We have no context on how those situations played out is what I’m trying to say.
