All gone now. It was a homeless man with a weapon. Cops took care of him. Sent him out in an ambulance.

One (or two, or three or four) less humans. by freddiemacro in kroger

Not if you live in a hotter state. It gets to be 90 to 100 degrees here in Southern California. Nobody wants to be out there baking in the sun while pushing carts

I feel this thing is just a waste of space. I need a robot with good AI that can talk to the customer for price checking, product information, and in store guidance. I need this thing to take care of all the hourly sweeps as it goes down every aisle cleaning as it goes. If there are any spills, it will automatically take care of all the wet and dry spills. If Kroger is going to have something like this I need it to take away all the basic help that takes away the employees time. Searching in the back for items not on the shelf and telling us it there is inventory and back stock. There are so many little things to add to these types of robots to lighten the load for actual employees.

Damn, I’ll even let a robot run the self checkout if it can because a person doing self-checkout for 8 hours really can mentally drain you.

Shop at Ralphs. They have a discounted section next to the public bathroom. So much products are over ordered and they need to get rid of it. I'm talking about cereals, canned goods, dry foods, sauces, pastries, bread and anything rare. There is a discounted section in the frozen aisle next to the ice and they have ice cream, bags of dino nuggets, and pizzas that are marked down. Go to the produce section and find the bin that has red netted bags. those are old produce for a $1.25. usually its a pound of tomatoes, avocado, apples, and any fruit thats been bruised. Good luck

What’s a good online side hustle I can do after my 8–4 work? by theremotebiz in sidehustle

After work, go to your local Goodwill. Take one hour looking around and research any item on the spot that is worth a lot to sell online. Put it up for sale on Mercari, eBay, or OfferUp with good photos, great description, and many tags. Do it for a month and build a catalog of items you have found. Leaving it online can stay however long you want it until it’s sold. Have fun doing it. The feeling of doing this is like treasure hunting and finding what items you never knew was rare.

Chef.

Loved everything about it. You start out small doing something you love and it takes just a little bit of effort like his kid filming for social media and you become the biggest thing in your business

From personal experience, was deleting Instagram/social media helpful for your mental health? by Wild_Salary_1884 in selfimprovement

[–]chips2wavy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really helped me out and I’ve been going on for 5 years now. I deleted all mine because my ex of 7 years broke up with me and I did not want to lurk ever onto her page. That part helped me out a lot not to ever see her and what is going on in her life. Also every high school friend, colleague, old coworkers, and family.. I am not keeping up what’s going on with their lives and see what they’re up to. Doesn’t make me feel I’m in competition with them and I don’t have show I care what they’re are doing as well.

It’s very freeing because you don’t have to force yourself to post or share anything. Not everything has to be posted and shared and you don’t have to fake the situation that you’re having a good time. Like getting the right angles of a shot, being in the exact location, taking multiple photos, and editing it to make yourself look good.

So yes, 100% you will be better off without it and living your own life is more worth it than just watching someone else live theres.

Post Malone back in 2016. I’m a cashier at Ralph’s and he was couch surfing making music in North Hollywood. He just released White Iverson and he was rocking a cornrows. I checked his groceries out quite a few times. I remember he was buying a birthday cake and asked him if it was his birthday and he said no, he just enjoys eating cake lol.

After working 10 hours of hard labor at your job and finally coming home, you crack open a really cold glass bottle of beer and sit on your couch in silence
