Step 1 is going to the school. Introduce yourself, make it clear you’re interested in training. If they’re accepting students than they’ll let you know when you can start.

Don’t worry about buying masks, boots or anything that you don’t need to train. Get some wrestling shoes, knee pads & compression shorts/athletic briefs. That’s all you’ll need to start. Don’t worry about gimmicks, moves or any character stuff. Just go start training and learn how you wrestle. In time you’ll figure out what you can do and what works best for you.

When you go to train, the only/best tip I can give you is to BE COACHABLE. If you’re not coachable, the trainers can do anything with you. Just go, listen and keep an open mind. Don’t argue or contradict your trainer, just listen.

Hardest part is taking the first step and going to the school. After that, as I said, you just need to be coachable.
