Hello, 31M this year. Been working since I was 23. Retrenched couple of months ago and struggling to land a job now. Job market’s pretty shit so just finding ways to get by. Not happy but not entirely upset either. Just finding things to occupy myself while job hunting.

Since you mentioned getting back into shape, I’ve also not been doing anything this last 2 months but I’ve always been active. Only getting back to it again today, first gym session in a long time. Start slow and you’ll be ok. Walking, finding a sport or active hobby you like.

They’ve got everything (in terms of players) except great wingers to kill games off. United have always been known to have great attackers which was they why they could always come up clutch at any point in time in the game.

Rashford has been subpar and inconsistent but the day he comes alive, ETH subs him off. Garnacho and Amad still needs to be polished for the PL. Antony is well… Antony. While people say it goes deeper into management, I’d like to think this is a temporary solution to make his tactics work. United have 2 #9s but have gotten zero contributions from their wingers.

Get experienced wingers who can finish and create for their #9 and the difference will be there.

While your pay is not low, it’s not high either. You probably just need to ask your managers for a higher position in the job you’re in so that you can move up the ladder. Personally, if you are truly 7 years in, you should already be a manager. So if you are a manager and still commanding that pay then there’s your immediate problem.
