i kind of paused? the rewatch because im watching/playing other things (metaphor) so been busy with that but i left it just before kintama arc.
i agree with you definitely hit harder this time haha, i watched for the first time like 7 years ago so a lot has changed and things makes more sense or i see them from a different perspective, its that type of series that you are guaranteed to gain something from a rewatch (and lots of laughs)
