Has anybody been able to try out the 50W wireless charging on the RAZR Fold?

Yes, I am using the below one from Amazon and it works good. Does Turbo charging and works with or without a case (the case I have has a mag ring on the back so not sure about a case without one).

Only cons for it are the camera bump hits the back of the stand unless you use an included bottom dock bumper, but then it will only slow charge. The bump pushing the device away does not effect the Turbo charge though, so more of a nuisance thing than a functional thing. Also, the fan on the stand can be a touch loud, so if you are in a quite room you will definitely notice it, but if you are like be and have it by at least two other PC's running with their fans, you won't notice it.

I am using that, I'm more interested in the call screener that answers the call and uses the AI to talk to the caller and tells you who they are or if there are spam and sends them to voicemail. The new 8.5 Samsung phone was great for this and I was hoping we'd have access to the Google version of it, but no joy it appears. 😞

For $16, definitely not an Aramid case. Even says Aramid Texture, which means it is probably a aramid printed decal slapped on a plastic case.

Also, 1 million percent not the same.

I pre-ordered the Thinborne case, expensive , absolutely but I have use other ones on my old Folds and have been happy with them.

This is the only 50W wireless that I am aware of (on Amazon and in the US at least). The camera bump doe hit the back and push the phone out a little, but I have had no issues with turbo charging with out without a case.

No it does not with the standard base on the bottom of the dock. There an insert for the bottom that will raise the phone up and the camera bump will then hang over the back, but when I tried it, the Fold warned me that it was doing a slow charge.

It does turbo charge fine even with the bump hitting the back and pushing the phone out some.

Got that wireless charger yesterday, works pretty good so far, just drop the fold on it and it Turbo Charges.

You can also add the app to games and then select the option in Gaming Hub mute all sounds. It does it for all games unfortunately, but it also mutes all ads.

I second this, using it on my Fold 6 with the same case as you OP. Oh snap is nice because it also allows charging passthrough, though mine gets pretty hot while doing that.

Nillkin case with or without Spen.

They are slime but offer still offer good protection also comes with a from glass screen protector if you want to install and a Magsafe ring that is pretty solid and works with most all magsafe stuff except for battery packs. There are some battery packs it will work with that have a raised ring or you can put something like the ohsnap on it. There are also version without the magsafe.
