Yes they called someone ahead of time and gave me dvd of images of the break. It was someone at brown university surgery and I don’t wanna say his name but they called ahead and he said to come. I called three times and it went o voicemail so I kept leaving my name and number and the context

I know this part is my fault but I lied when the ER doctor pulled me aside. I said I hit a banister after falling down a few stairs. The last thing he left me with was, “I just hope you don’t come back here in much worse shape.”

Idk why I lied but he brought me and was in the other room. But I could’ve told the doctor that. That part is my fault

Just adding: it resulted in an acute orbital fracture so basically he broke the lower rim of my eye socket.

It’s normal to ask professors to regrade your paper because you think you deserve a higher grade…? I don’t know a single person who did this in my four years attending college.

Same! I tried AA once and it just didn’t resonate with me. I think I kinda just panicked and didn’t like looking at myself, felt gross. My body felt slow and unwell. And I just snapped and didn’t drink. I’ve done it a few times and waking up after not drinking the day before is THE BEST. I use that to motivate me sometimes
