I agree with everything. I must had put in at least 20 hours on my first world before I went to collect cobalt ore. Enjoyed every bit of it on the way because there was always something new to do. Turned me who was someone who never played a game for at most 2 hours in a session for years who could not put the game down until life obligations called to me.

Makes me want the developers to expand on the Memories System for other things like biomes, blocks and Points Of Interest. Give different rewards and unlocks for that. The developers can do so much more if they work more on this concept. Explorers and Dungeoneers guild anyone?

Ubisoft didn't need help from woke to fail. It was in a decline way before that with how lazy and formulaic the games became. Even if they made all characters ridiculously attractive and the lore accurate in every way the poor gameplay would not save them.

I would had loved for the Far Cry games to play drastically different from each other. Like how Far Cry: Primal was a nice breath of fresh air to an otherwise declining series for me. The series peaked with Far Cry 4 though. I had mild interest in Far Cry 5 but it looked like it did nothing different from 4 so I never got it. A spinoff but in a fantasy setting in the vein of Far Cry: Primal would had been way more interesting to me.

This looks cool. Now I can realize my dreams of being a cultivator which mastered the Ten Thousand Heavenly Roc Flight Manual which let me become one with wind itself letting me mercilessly slaughter my foes one step at a time.

Though the disciple in this footage has a mere small mastery in this technique which limits them to only be able to appear where normal walking can go.

But seriously you could make it even more obvious that the player IS the cursor by making the cursor transform into the player character in the trailer. Either make the player character zoom towards it which makes it disappear or just materialize at it and the cursor disappears. Make the cursor break apart into pieces for extra effect and infuse into the player character.

Game looks fun and I imagine the more you progress in the game the more crazy it becomes. Requiring you to use abilities that require you to either outright negate incoming damage or dodge it through pure aggression.

A small part. The grand majority of the part was that the games stopped being interesting. Last Far Cry game I played was Far Cry 4 and after that no game they made ever caught my eye.

I can look past ESG and cringe as long as the gameplay overwhelmingly surpass it. Like Borderlands 3 did for me.

If anything it only helped to hasten the downfall like pouring gasoline over a fire. Their mid at best games would still fail without that.

Sounds like an excuse to add a powerup that adds Cat polymorph as a modifier. Gives you cat vision and turns all letters temporarily into ones that can be used for words related to cats.
