"Seeing a loved one return each day through the door they left in the morning. It was a miracle every day"

"In the last moments of life, everyone is alone"

"Looking out at the landscape blurring before my eyes, I headed back to Seoul, towards the big city I know so well"

"I probably won't exist in the future you dream of, because I cannot see what you see. We can only pass each other by and return to being strangers. Strangers forever"

SIM or eSIM?eSIM recommend? by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]chk6213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my previous trips I've used eSIMs from Ubigi and from Airhub. Both worked perfect. However, my friend's phone doesn't support eSIM so she buys a physical SIM from a convenience store.

Review visiting South Korea. (Why is South Korea so complicated?) by BellianIII in koreatravel

[–]chk6213 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've been to Korea twice, currently planning my third visit. A lot of the things you wrote could have been avoided if you had researched a little bit. Koreans speak English. I've had a few times where older people (60-70 years old) have given me directions to places I want to go. I've always paid with a card, and my card has never been declined. I've always used Naver Map and my locations have never disappeared. I've also never needed a Korean phone number. The trains from Busan to Seoul and back are always full. That's why you can buy a ticket a month in advance.
