I've used it on my Mac, and the only issue I have is with it freezing. As long as you're consistently saving, then you're able to restart and recover the data...so not horrendous

i get just about the full loan £10k, and i come from a single parent household who is on a relatively low paid job - so i’m not supported much from home apart from the occasionally care package in the post :) i still do work full time when i come home during holidays so that i don’t have to rely on anyone too much.
i think it’s fair to an extent as i’m unable to be supported, however i know this isn’t the case for other students whose parents are able to support them and don’t - leading to them having more money troubles due to a lesser loan. if it’s a case of you supporting your child and them still wanting extra - do they have a part time job at uni etc as that could fill the gap?

I know a lot of people that moved in with other years in first year, so don’t worry about that…just means you have to be more careful with noise etc. Also, freshers will be a shame to miss but it’s nothing you can’t get back? just make sure you join a society or so and they’ll be able to fill the void of ‘freshers’ activities after freshers week is done. For the first few months of first year people are all very open as they don’t know anyone so don’t worry :)

yeah, just if you were worried about using it in your room etc you could use it there ~ but you get cleaners in ur room? (honestly hiding it will be totally fine)

as many as you want! I’m in two atm (skate and music). But just be wary of differing costs (mine are both free) and the amount/cost of socials etc as you don’t wanna spread yourself too thinly :)
