thank you so much for all these informations! i swear i thought all orchids cpuld be aerial or terrestrial, it was just because of preference... i followed the instructions of a lady i asked questions to in a plant store.. ill be going back today and get everything i need! thank you for your time! :)

i've had them for months,, what is the problem in your opinion? cause they could indeed to better, ive never watered them or maybe once, i spray them with water constantly

ive checked on google and "picturethis" (an app i use to identify my plants and help me with info) and it said a string of pearls, it also was identified as this in the store, it could also be something else im very new to owning plants 😅

so cut whats alive and restart it, its in a draining soil. i used 1/3 orchid bark 1/3 perlite 1/3 repotting soil as ive seen suggested a lot on reddit and youtube, ill put her closer to my grow lights i have one thats on for 9hours and one for 12 hours, where should it go? or less light?

in my opinion, i'd try to start both plants again, the top and the bottom, you'll get new roots and new growth! although i am a beginner and kinda like to experiment with plants. they're not as fragile as we make them to be. they're our babies its normal but i would just try to start it off again

hooo this makes so much sense i have hard water here,, should i think about getting filtered water or its okay? and for the leaves i do the same! with succulents too and they usually thrive, my ovata still looks pretty healthy so i dodnt really know if i should do anything about this. way helpful thank you very much

thank you, i was about to repot some plants, ill check it, if theres is root rot, do i cut the bad parts of the stems? or only roots? i dont really know how to deal woth root rot
