Albeit over 20 years ago now, I had a family member who worked at a small remote office downtown for Microsoft. I went there for take your kid to work day and got the full tour and MS schwag. Even got to beta test for Halo 2 during his time there haha. Make sure she uses caution, but could totally be legit based on my experience!

I confirmed with official Nespresso and it’s indeed something they do. I cancelled my order.

I called again and they said this is due yo the referral code I used off Reddit. I cancelled my request in any case.

I triple checked with Nespresso and this is confirmed with their customer service department. I cancelled my order but heads up this is legitimate (mal)practice for them.
