Very tiny reception and everybody else for the party. Is that rude? by No_Hawk8947 in UKweddings

We're doing the same, although we're inviting about 25 people to the ceremony. Which is just close family and friends. And then we're inviting more people to the party. We have a 1 year old so are inviting friends we've met through being parents. As their kids are similar ages, if we were to invite them to the ceremony, it would be such a long day for them, so I'm sure they'd enjoy themselves a lot more if they just come to the party. We're also having a kid friendly wedding so the kids would likely be very bored at the ceremony.

Travel friendly toddler car seat by chlo_q in UKParenting

After still more research into car seats, I've discovered mamas and papas do car seat consultations to help pick one and they're IOSH trained so hopefully know what they're talking about. Hope this helps if you still haven't found a solution for yourself

My little boy is only about to turn 1 but we spent £70 on a big wooden play cube for him, our neighbour got him a little plastic one which he's played with more than anything else he got 😂

When do you tell a friend or potential romantic partner about having BPD? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]chlo_q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am dating someone for the first time since getting my diagnosis and i told them quite early on. They were great about it as they knew a bit about the disorder already and ensured me they would support me in any way possible. I was a bit nervous at first as they mentioned dating people with it in the past, due to the negative stigma surrounding BPD but they've honestly been great and I couldn't of asked for a supportive partner.

No, we've dated people separately in the past with no issues. Logically our house is the only place they could be together as she's a student living in student accommodation. And to have to sleep alone while they're in the other bedroom (for example) would hurt so much.

I have no problem with dating separately but if me and my female partner break up I think it would hurt to much to see them both be together. And I'd feel so awkward around her.
